‘’Special hit chart on the left, one in a series of three consecutive surveys in July of 1968 with the ''C'' missing from the station's call letters. Not a typo, very much intentional as ''FOX'' listeners may recall mobilizing to catch daily on-air clues over most of July to locate the errant ''C''. Brilliant promotion that pays off for the station and for a  ''Mrs Melenson'' who adds up all the clues which lead to...the ''C'' on Montreal Canadiens captain Jean Béliveau’s sweater.

For being the first to make the astute call, ''Mrs. Melenson’’ wins a cheque for $1,470.00 and tickets to the Habs 1968-69 season's opener at the Montreal Forum. Here she is pictured above accepting her prizes from the always-affable Big Jean.’’
