April Wine founder, lead singer and songwriter Myles Goodwyn retired from touring as part of the band, in 2023. Goodwyn's last performance with April Wine was March 2nd, 2023 in Nova Scotia, appropriately where the April Wine story all began in 1969. Singer-guitarist Marc Parent stepped in to replace Goodwyn.

Guitarist and Wine member since 1977, Brian Greenway took over the band's leadership on the road and is now centering the group in concert moving forward.

Sadly, Goodwyn passed away later that year, on December 3rd 2023,
following a lengthy illness. He was 75
