Quite some time after both have left 980 CKGM, Ralph Lockwood * and Marc Denis are back together again in the late 80s. Marc is a frequent guest on “Hi Noon - The Ralph Lockwood Show” on CFCF 12, Montréal. Denis is the weekly “Gadgets and Practical Tips” collaborator on Lockwood’s daily Noon hour television funfest.

In this show from 1987, Marc is demonstrating the latest novelty footwear for joggers and long-distance runners, the Exerlopers. They are essentially roller blade boots minus the wheels which are replaced by “football”-shaped iron blades designed to ease pressure on feet, knees and legs while using body weight to propel the runner and putting a “spring” (literally!) in his/her step. They saw it here first!

As well, Marc is introducing Ralph * to the latest novelty gadget to cure snoring, the “Snore-Be-Gone”. It is a stretchy headband with a short, built-in elastic, on the end of which sit two plastic hooks, one for each nostril. The nostrils are thus pulled upward towards the forehead the instant the sleeper attemps to honk in his/her sleep. Result: you are too sore to snore. Problem fixed. “Snore-Be-Gone”!

Now, if we could just find a cure for those oh-so-80s yellow jogging pants…
